The birth story of Lord Ganesha
One day Goddess Parvati was on Mount Kailash, preparing to take a bath. She didn’t want her to be disturbed, so she instructed Nandi, husband of Shiva’s Bull, to guard the entrance and make sure no one got in. Nandi faithfully accepted his position, hoping to fulfill Parvati’s wishes.
Shiva returned home, and Nandi, loyal to Shiva, had to let Shiva go. Parvati was furious at this insult but more so that she didn’t have anyone as loyal to her as Nandi to Shiva. Mother took the turmeric paste (for bathing) from her body and breathed life into it. Thus, she created lord Ganesha. Declaring him her loyal son.
Parvati wanted to take a bath the next time she did so, and Ganesha was posted at the door as a guard. Shiva returned home to find this boy telling Shiva that he couldn’t go into his house. Shiva was furious that the boy dared to challenge his authority. Lord Shiva told Ganesha that he was Parvati’s husband and demanded he let Ganesha go in.
Ganesha, however, refused to listen. Shiva lost patience and fought a fierce battle against lord Ganesha. Shiva, furious, ordered his army to destroy the boy. But they failed! This power was the Lord Ganesha’s, as he was the son of Devi Herself!
Shiva was shocked by this. Shiva, usually peaceful, decided to fight this boy because he knew he was not an ordinary boy.
He finally severs Lord Ganesha’s head from his Trishula. Parvati was so angry and insulted when she learned about this that she decided to destroy all of Creation! Lord Brahma, the Creator.
Naturally, he had issues with it and begged her to reconsider her plan. She agreed, but only if there were two conditions:
First, Lord Ganesha is brought back to life; second, he is worshipped forever before all other gods. After cooling down, Shiva realized his error and agreed to Parvati’s terms.
Shiva’s Trishul, which was so powerful that it had even thrown Lord Ganesha’s head off the wall, proved too much for him. All efforts to locate the head failed. Shiva reached out to Brahma as a last resort. He suggested replacing Lord Ganesha’s head with the first living being who came his way.
North is facing head. Shiva sent his disciples to seek out and take any creature they found asleep with its head facing north.
They found an elephant that was dying and attached its head to Lord Ganesha’s corps. Back to life. The name of Lord Ganesha, also known as Ganapati or the head of the celestial army, was adopted by everyone.

Hinduism celebrates the 10-day celebration marking the birth of Lord Ganesha (an elephant-headed god of wisdom and prosperity)
It starts on the fourth day (Chaturthi) of the month Bhadrapada (August–September), which is the sixth month in the Hindu calendar. Ganesha’s idols are placed on raised platforms inside homes and in elaborately decorated tents outside to mark the beginning of the festival. The worship ritual begins with Pranapratishtha, a ritual to invoke life in the idols. Next, Shhodashopachara or the 16 ways that you pay tribute, follows.
The chanting of Vedic hymns is accompanied by singing of religious texts such as the Ganesh Upanishad. The idols are anointed in red sandalwood paste and yellow and red flowers.
Lord Ganesha also receives jaggery, coconut, and 21 modaks (sweet dumplings), Ganesha’s favorite food.
10th Day: At the end of the festival, the idols will be carried to the local rivers in large processions, accompanied by drumbeats and devotional singing. They are submerged in the water, which symbolizes Ganesha’s return journey to Mount Kailas, where he will be reunited with his parents Shiva and Parvati.

Lord Ganesha Marriage – An Interesting Story
Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi decided to marry their two sons one day and shared the news with their sons. The boys started to quarrel about who would be the first to marry. The dispute turned between Goddess Parvathi and Lord Shiva.
They planned to appease their parents and called Lord Ganesha & Lord Subrahmanya. Both were able to stand before their parents.
They told them they had raised you equally and shared the same love for each other. We wanted to end your quarrel for goodness. So, among you who have traveled around Mother Earth and appeared before us, we will be the first to marry.
Lord Subrahmanya, who won the competition, set off quickly on his peacock to finish his journey around the Earth in record time before Lord Ganesha. Lord Ganesha, however, didn’t expect them to abandon their parents and revolve around the Earth.
Instead, he began to walk around the Universal Gods Goddess Parvathi and Lord Shiva, worshipping them with great devotion.
As such, He circumambulated seven more times. After the seventh salutation, Lord Subrahmanyam reached His destination. Lord Subrahmanyam then asked his parents to help him with the conditions of the competition. He had traveled around the globe and was the first to return.
Therefore, His marriage is first celebrated. Lord Ganesha was accused of wandering only around His parents and never going anywhere else on Earth. Lord Subrahmanya’s words were recited by Lord Ganesha, who explained that the Vedas state that anyone who goes around their parents will get the fruit of Bhu Pradakshina.
To complete the seven-time trip around the Universal Parents, I also had to go around the Earth and the Universe seven times.
I have won this competition, so celebrate my marriage first.
Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi were pleased to hear their elder son Ganesha’s explanation and decided that Ganesha’s marriage would be celebrated first.
Lord Ganesha’s marriage with Riddhi & Siddhi
The Universal Parents searched for the perfect bride for Lord Ganesha and chose Riddhi & Siddhi from Prajapati Vishwaroopa’s beautiful daughters. To celebrate Lord Ganesha’s marriage, they called Vishnukarma the divine sculpture.
Lord Ganesha wed Siddhi & Riddhi on an auspicious date. They were blessed with two beautiful sons, Sabha and Kshema.
His eternal powers were his wives. Riddhi is illumined mind, and Siddhi is the attainment. These powers of Lord Ganesha include an illumined mind, attainment and a luminous heart. Kshema and Labha were his sons. Kshema is the total protection of all levels.
Labha is the ability to make good profits and gain good wealth. Lord Ganesha’s wives and sons are only the manifestations of his power.
The Eight Incarnations Of Lord Ganesha
Ganesha Purana, and Mudgala Purana (Upa Puranas), are completely dedicated to Lord Ganesha. These Puranas state that Lord Ganesha manifested in many forms, eight of which are his most important. Incarnations. These incarnations which have taken place in different cosmic ages are Vakratunda, Ekadanta, Mahodara, Gajavaktra(Gajanana), Lambodara, Vikata, Vighnaraja & Dhoomravarna.
The eight Avatars for Lord Ganesha-
- Vakratunda-Ganesha’s first avatar is of Vakratunda (twisted trunk), an embodiment of the Absolute Impersonal aspect of Godhood called Brahman in the form of Ganesha. Matsara, a demon, was born from the Pramaada of Indra (Heedlessness). This demon performed severe penance and invoked the graces of Lord Shiva. He was granted the boon to fearlessness. After obtaining the boon, he began conquering all three worlds,” He was crowned the king of Asuras.
Their preceptor Sukracharya was their protector. The defeated gods went to Kailasa to pray to Lord Shiva for protection. Matsara heard the mission of the gods and went to Kailas. Also, Lord Shiva was exiled. The gods couldn’t decide what to do next at their wit’s end. There was Lord Dattatreya. He advised the gods that they invoke the grace of Lord Vakratunda and revealed to them the secrets of the monosyllable mantra Gam. All gods, including Shiva, did penance according to the instructions and Lord Vakratunda was finally freed.
Vakratunda appeared before them and promised to subdue the demon. Vakratunda was so fearful of the demon that he gave in to his will and fled to safety. His feet. He was forgiven by the Lord, who restored his glory and kingdoms to God and the various kings of the Earth.
- Ekadanta – The next incarnation in the form of Ekadanta, a single-tusked sage. The Asura asked his father for permission and went to Sukracharya, Chyavana’s brother and the preceptor of Asuras. He prostrated before the Guru. He expressed his desire for the title of the ruler of the entire universe. Sukracharya was happy with his nephew’s submission and initiated him into Shakti Mantra Hrim.
Madasura kept this mantra alive for thousands of years, and he did penance. Finally, Shakti, the deity, appeared before him and blessed his wishful thinking. The demon waged a brutal war against all the gods and kings and was ultimately victorious. So he became the ruler of all three worlds.
All virtues and righteousness vanished from the world during his reign. He married Saalasa, the daughter of Pramada Asura, and had three children with her: viz. Vilasi, Lolupa, Dhanapriya. Sanatkumara was approached by the worried gods and offered his help to them. He instructed them to propitiate Lord Ekadanta.
His protection. He also spoke of the glory of Ekadanta. Thus Eka stands for Maya “embodied”. Danta is Truth (Satta). Ekadanta is the embodiment of Truth (Satta). Supreme Truth that wields Maya.” The Devas meditated for hundreds of years upon Lord Ekadanta. The Lord appeared before them, pleased by their devotion.
They were assured that He would end their miseries. Narada, the celestial Saint, immediately informed Madasura about the boon granted to the gods by the Lord. He was to wage war against Ekadanta. The demon prepared for battle with the Lord. He was horrified to see the horrible form of Ekadanta as he approached the battlefield.
Ekadanta lost all of his courage and surrendered to God. The Lord then instructed Madasura: “Don’t stay at a place where my worship is done in a Satwic way.” All actions taken with Asuric Bhava are yours to enjoy.
- Mahodara – The third incarnation of Mahodara, who defeated Mohasura, a demon of Delusion or Confusion, was Mahodara. The mount of Ganesha was once again the mouse. It is difficult to comprehend the story’s confusing nature because of its confusing nature. Once Shiva was in meditation for many years and showed no movement.
There are signs that it is about to end. The gods needed help. Parvati took on an attractive form and wandered around his meditation spot. This act brought Shiva back to her normal, wakeful consciousness. She also gave up the alluring ‘cover. This energy form was then transformed into a demon. It grew in its own right through the ages, and Ganesha subdued them. The parents of Ganesha are Shiva and Parvati, so it’s hard to believe the psychological implications.
Mohasur was a Sun God worshipper and earned the title of Daitya Raja, which means King of the Demons. He conquered all three worlds. “All the gods and sages hid inside.” Jungles and caves feared him. All over, there was chaos. Surya, Sun God, advised all gods to worship Mahodara, i.e., Ganesha. “All the Gods and the
Sages began to worship Mahodara. Ganesha was happy and gave them a boon. He said that he would slay Mohasur. Shukracharya then heard the news. He told Mohasur that he would surrender before Mahodara. Lord Vishnu also told Mohasur that he would not be killed or destroyed if he surrendered. This is why
He should accept Mahodara’s friendship. He began to praise and sing the glory of Lord Lambodara by saying this. “Listening was Mohasur’s greatest gift. He was scared and requested Lord Vishnu bring Mahodara to show him respect and honor. Mohasur welcomed Lord Mahodara to his home and greeted him with open arms.
Pomposity and gaiety. He sang his praises, asking for forgiveness for his sins. Mohasur assured the gods that he would bring back their Swargalok. He promised that he would always be on the right path. He assured them that he would never harass the Sages or Gods again. This is what I heard.
Lord Mahodara was happy and commanded him to return to Pataal Lok, never to return. The Gods and Sages were all thrilled, and they began singing together. Praise to Lord Mahodara
- Gajanana – Equally perplexing within the tangled web of intergenerational homosexuality is the next tale of Gajanana, or Gajavaktra, who defeated the demon Lobhasur (Greed and Covetousness). Gajanana is “the Lord with an elephant-face”, and Lobha was once the demon of greed.
Kailasa was the home of Lord Shiva. He was blessed by the vision of Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. Kubera saw Parvati as so beautiful that he looked at her. With lustful eyes. Kubera was furious and shivered from fear. A demon called Lobhasura was born out of Kubera’s fear. Lobhasur He could descend into the Asura world, where Sukracharya, the Guru of Asuras, educated him. He was initiated to the mantra “0m Naamah Shivaya”. He started with the mantra “0m Namah Shivaya”.
The demon Lobha performed penance, and the Lord blessed him with the boon to fearlessness. He was the sovereign ruler of all worlds. He informed Lord Shiva that he wanted to be the ruler of Kailas and that He would prefer to leave His home. After pondering for some time, the Lord decided to leave His abode. The demonic rule had tyrannized the gods, and they approached Raibhya, who told them to pray to Lord.
Gajanana. The Devas invoked God’s grace and sought His protection. The Lord sent Vishnu to inform him. Gajanana Lobhasura, convinced of the Lord’s strength, surrendered to him without any resistance.
- Lambhodara -Once upon a time, Lord Vishnu took on the disguise of Mohini to deceive the demons. Lord Shiva saw this seductive form. He was overcome with passion. Vishnu instantly gave up his Mohini form to take on His normal form. Shiva was saddened and angry. The seeds of His disappointment were sown.
Krodhasur, a horrible demon, was born. This demon invoked God’s grace and became a powerful king. He wedded Preeti, the lovely little girl of Sambara. She had two sons with her — Harsha and Soka. The Lord met them. Subdue Krodhasur for the good of the entire world.
- Vikata -His next appearance was that of Vikata (“The mishappen”), who subdued the Kama, the demon of desire, i.e., The embodiment of lust was He was born from the seeds of Lord Vishnu. He was accepted as his disciple by Sukracharya, the preceptor of all demons. Kamasura did penance for Lord
After long, arduous austerities, Shiva was blessed by God. He was made the supreme ruler over all three worlds. Trishna was his ceremonial wife.
The daughter of Mahishasura was a mother to two sons, Dushpoora and Soshana. Soshana, Dushpoora. The Devas were sore from his rule that they approached Mudgala Rishi to show them. Way out. Their teacher instructed them to meditate on the mantra OM at Mayuresa Kshetra. Their devotion touched them. They were pleased by Lord Ganesha’s devotion. Vikata was the name of salvation.
- Vighnaraja – The 7th incarnation of Lord Ganesha is Vighnaraja used a unique mode of conveyance: a Sheshnaag, or Shasha. Ganesha could subdue Mamasur, also known as Mamtasur and Mama, the demon of the self.
This is His (Ganesha) most famous incarnation, The Remover of Obstacles. He rode his serpent-like vehicle, Sheshnag, and strode into battle. Mamtasur and won him over.” Parvati Devi, the daughter of Himavan, was married to Lord Shiva. One day, while relaxing in the garden, she married Lord Shiva.
She enjoyed the company of her friends. In a playful mood, she burst into laughter, and a handsome male form was born. He prostrated to his mother. He was surprised by the appearance of the form, and she asked him about his identity and wishes. He replied that he was born out of Her laughter.
He was able to serve her in a way that she could understand. He was named Mama by her because he was born from an outburst of She, who Maan seduced, the sense of Ego, I-ness. She gave birth to him.
Mama told him always to remember Lord Ganesha, who would fulfill all of his wishes. The journey was uneventful. He met Sambara Asura, who was able to lure him into the Asuric cult and initiate him into demonic worship. Mamtasur became the demon. He married Mohini, a daughter of an Asura chief. In due course, he became the ruler over alt the three realms. The Devas who
They were exiled from the world’s propitiated Lord Ganesha. He incarnated as Vighnaraja and subdued Mamasura, establishing righteousness and peace.
- Dhoomravarna– Ganesha has a mouse as his mount then. This time, his life mission was to defeat Ahamkarasur, the demon of self-infatuation. Once Brahmaji, the grandeur, bestowed upon the Sun deity the lordship of the ‘world’ of activities. Sun had a moment of clarity when he thought: “All the Karma activities govern all worlds. I am the Lord of Karma Rajya and can be the supreme governor over all worlds.
He thought this thought and sneezed. A demon arose from the sneeze. He was taken to the Asura world, where Sukracharya gave his name. Aham is his name because he was born from the ego Sun. He meditated upon Lord Ganesha, who appeared in the form of Dhumravarna before him and blessed him.
Aham was the sovereign ruler over all three worlds. He married Mamata, daughter of Pramadasura and had two sons with her: Garva and Sreshta. Tired of The demonic rule of Aham was imposed upon the Devas by Lord Ganesha. Lord Ganesha came to their rescue. Dhoomravarna defeated the demon Aham.
