How to Reach Sigandur Chowdeshwari Temple

You can reach your destination at Sri Sigandur Chowdeshwari Temple by bus or ferry. Two ferry boats take vehicles to and from one side of the shoreline to the other. As people, it takes around one hour to travel to Sigandur via a local bus from Sagar. You can pick one of these options that meet your requirements.

Sigandur is opposite the Sharavathi River from its backwater (before Jog falls). To meet, people must visit Sagar, the Taluk headquarter, to meet Sigandur. Temple can access private cars and bus services from Sagar. 

Buses are frequent in Sagar (Shimoga district of Karnataka). There is also a bus stop. Direct buses that operate between Shimoga, Bhatkal to Sigandur.Since the number of buses available is lower, it is best to travel in private vehicles.

You must go over the opposite bank of the Sharavathi River if you’re coming by vehicle.

Launch (ferry) transfer service for the bank in the opposite direction (2 kilometers) is accessible at this branch. The launch service is available until the time of 5 pm. A small town known as Kalasavalli is on the opposite part of the river. Sigandur is just ten kilometers away from here.
